HERMANUS WHALE WATCHING FULL-DAY TRIP
A full-day scenic drive along the Whale Coast to Hermanus, one of the best land-based whale watching spots in the world — seasonal, unforgettable, and entirely at your own pace.
Please note: Whale watching is seasonal, typically June–November (Southern Right whale season). Outside these months this remains a beautiful coastal drive, but whale sightings are unlikely.
What to expect
Head east along the dramatic coastline toward Hermanus, passing through Betty's Bay and Kleinmond en route, with the mountains on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Hermanus is internationally recognised as one of the finest places on earth to watch Southern Right whales from the shore, as they come into Walker Bay to calve and nurse their young between June and November.
Your chauffeur takes you along the cliff path viewpoints and into the town itself, with time to explore the shops, galleries, and waterfront restaurants before the drive back to Cape Town.
